Urban Pioneers

Welcome to our new topic! Today we met Flake, a local artist,  who specialises in graffiti art. Flake taught us about legal and illegal graffiti.

Can you write down the differences between legal and illegal graffiti?

Do you remember when graffiti was first introduced in England?

Today we listened to Flake teaching us about graffiti, we created our own tags, we coloured our names written in graffiti writing by Flake, we flicked paint with toothbrushes and created a No Outsiders banner for our school! There are no outsiders when it comes to graffiti art, just like there are no outsiders at Robin Hood!

  1. ILLEGAL GRAFITI IS WHEN NO ONE ASKS THE PERSON TO DO IT . ITS ALSO WHEN IT’S RUSHED . LEGAL GRAFFITI IS WHEN IT’S BEEN ASKED TO DO .SUCH AS A RESPONSIBLE PERSON .ITS NEVER RUSHED .
